Midnight Cove Yankee Candle Review

Yankee Candle made a fragrance called Midnight Cove a while back.  You can still find this lovely fragrance here and there, and I hope it comes back to the traditional or classics line in the stores someday!

Midnight Cove is described a few different ways that I have seen, from mysterious, refreshing, romantic and mysterious.  I have seen it say that it reminds you of a secluded cove on a beach, and that you can practically smell the sea salt in the air, etc.

I was looking in particular for the description of the fragrance and it wasn't easy to find!  It is described as fresh and beautiful. The large jar I got was the house warmer candle jar.  It is the largest jar Yankee Candle makes, and is 22 ounces.

One of the things I love about this candle is the picture on the label.  To be honest, I think this is partly what sold me on the candle!  It looks like the end of the day, or a very dark and cloudy day but blue skies and clouds.  There is like a mist in the ocean, where the waves meet the rocks.  There is a lighthouse up on the rocks with a light on inside of it.  Truly, it is beautiful and has a feel all its own.

The deep rich ocean blue color is nice as well.  Personally, I love the fragrance very much and wasn't disappointed at all.  I honestly don't recall the throw very well, but I think it was a good throw because even after a very long time, the little bit of wax left in the bottom of the jar still smells amazing.  That can't be easy for fragrant oil to last so long.  I don't remember struggling with the candle having blackening issues.  I don't like it when a wick has to be trimmed super short to avoid blackening of the candle.  This didn't seem to be a problem.

I give it two thumbs up, and I would definitely buy it again. If only Yankee Candle would bring Midnight Cove back into production!  I love this candle truly.
